Neopragmatic Reflections on Coastal Land Loss and Climate Change in Louisiana in Light of Popper’s Theory of Three Worlds

This paper addresses the social resonances to complex causes, effects, and feedback of land loss in southern Louisiana, particularly with respect region’s vulnerability impacts anthropogenic climate change, especially against backdrop consequences side effects resident petrochemical industry. Using empirical findings from an online discussion about coastal talks people different perceptions affected not-affected become apparent. As a result high complexity topic, meta-theoretical framing by neopragmatism, as well analytical based on Popper’s theory three worlds, is provided.
